Jubilee celebration at Blacon Adventure Playground

Children in Blacon are being invited to a patriotic party to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

Avenue Services is hosting the event at Blacon Adventure Playground, in Kipling Road, from 1.30-3pm on Friday 3 June.

There will be a host of themed activities to enjoy, including a royal fancy dress contest, afternoon tea, a disco, karaoke, games and competitions with lots of prizes.

Sandra Hewitt, Blacon Adventure Playground manager, said: “The Jubilee is going to be a fantastic event for people all over the country, and we’re really looking forward to holding a fun-filled celebration for children here in Blacon.

“We’ll be hanging the bunting and flying the flags and hope as many young people as possible can join us to make it a truly memorable occasion.”

The event is free to attend but places are limited and must be booked in advance. Parents, carers and guardians can register their children for the event by visiting the adventure playground or emailing keith.morrison@sanctuary.co.uk no later than Friday 27 May.
