The Parade Enterprise Centre brings together a range of services under one roof at the heart of Blacon.
Based on the Parade shops, the high quality, contemporary building houses the library, community centre, offices and various businesses.
There are a number of different sized rooms available which can be combined to give greater capacity.
The three main rooms available to hire are:
- Community Hall (capacity of 200 people)
- Community Room (capacity of 53 people)
- Conference Room (capacity of 22 people)
There is a kitchen available with the Community Hall and all rooms have access to projectors and screens. Contact us to check availability and make a booking.
The Parade Enterprise Centre was part of a wider Blacon regeneration project between Sanctuary Group, Cheshire West and Chester Council (CWaC), and NHS Western Cheshire. The original scheme involved an investment of approximately £19.5 million including new housing and regenerating the existing parade of shops as well as building the Parade Enterprise Centre.
Health facility
The building next to the Parade Enterprise Centre was constructed in 2022 and includes space for a doctors surgery and a new health and wellbeing hub, as well as apartments for rent.
Sanctuary started to let the apartments in 2022 and The Elms Medical Practice moved into the surgery space in 2023. Discussions are underway between local health services, Cheshire West and Chester Council and Sanctuary with a view to opening a new health and wellbeing hub later this year.
